For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

Spiritual warfare
Lesson #1

There is no other subject more popular or
more controversial than that of spiritual
warfare. Leaders and teachers all over the
nation are talking about the demonic powers
that rule in the unseen world.
Everywhere you look it seems as though this
subject is being discussed.
But how do we pull down these demonic
strongholds.
It can only be done one way,
and that is with the mighty
weapons that God has given us to fight with.
We are going to take an in depth look at the
scriptures to find out how to use these mighty
weapons. It doesn't do any good to have these
weapons and not to know how to use them.
We will rely totally upon
The Holy Spirit to be our teacher.
In Mark 16:17 we are commanded
to cast out devils.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them
that believe; In my name shall they cast out
devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

In 2nd Corinthians 10:3-5 we are
commandedto pull down strong holds.

2nd Corinthians 10:3-5
3. For though we walk in the flesh,
we do not war after the flesh:
4. For the weapons of our warfare are not
carnal, but mighty through God to
the pulling down of strong holds;
5. Casting down imaginations, and every
high thing that exalteth itself against the
knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity
every thought to the obedience of Christ;

The warfare starts in the mind, this is why the
Word tells us to cast down imaginations and
every high thing that exalts itself against the
knowledge of God. We are to bring those
thoughts into captivity.
Satan is forever trying to put thoughts in our
heads telling us that we can't do this or we
cant do that, when Jesus says that I can do all
things through Him,
because he strengthens us.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me.

But in order to do this we must
first renew our minds.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Living bible Romans 12:2

Don't copy the behavior and customs of this
world, but be a new and different person with
a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then
you will learn from your own experience how
his ways will really satisfy you.
The dictionary says the word renew means to
re-create or to modernize.

There are many people who are held hostage
in their minds by satan.

The word says 1st John 3:8 says
For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested,
that he might destroy the works of the devil.

The word destroy is taken
form the greek word lu-o.
It means to untie or unloose something.

Jesus Christ came into this world to
untie satans binding powers over us.

In order to free peoples minds,
We must learn to recognize the
work of the enemy.
Satan knows that if he can plant a stronghold
in the mind of a person,
he can control and manipulate them.
The Holy Spirit wants to teach us how to
break these strong holds.
In our upcoming lessons we will be learning
how to break these strongholds and how
to use the weapons that The Holy Spirit
has provided us with.

Spiritual warfare
Lesson #2

In order to pull down the strongholds of the
devil, we must make sure that
we have no unrepented sin in our lives.
We cannot afford to leave an open door for
satan to come through.
He looks for ways to get in.
We must live a crucified life.
In other words we must be dead to sin.
We must go to God and ask him to reveal
any unknown sin,
and we must repent of all known sin.
Repenting means more than
just saying I'm sorry.
The word repent means
to turn from our sins.
You can scream and holler
at the devil all day,
But if you have some areas in your life that
has gone without repentance,
this will leave a door open for satan.
When you try to do spiritual warfare
without repenting, then you open the door
for satan to come in. It's like putting out the
welcome matt.
Once you have taken care of this area then
you are ready to proceed.
This is a very vital step in learning to do
spiritual warfare.
Spiritual warfare is very real
and this area cannot be ignored.
Now that we've gotten that part taken care
of let's go on to the good part.

Colossians 2:15
15. And having spoiled principalities and
powers, he made a shew of them openly,
triumphing over them in it.

Lets read Colossians 2:15 out of the Living
Bible to make things a little clearer.

In this way God took away Satan's power
to accuse you of sin, and God openly
displayed to the whole world Christ's
triumph at the cross where your sins were
all taken away.

At the Cross,
Jesus put satan to open shame.
Let's look at the word spoiled.
The word spoiled is taken from the Greek
word apekdusamenos.
This word refers to stripping
one to complete nakedness.
The Word tells us when Jesus arose from
the grave,
He literally plundered the enemy.
Jesus took all of satans weapons and left
him naked with nothing to retaliate with.
Colossians 2:15 continues. And having
spoiled principalities and powers,
he made a shew of them openly, triumphing
over them in it.

The word shew is taken from the word
deig-matidzo.
It means to display or to expose something.
Back in the old days when a war was won,
The reigning emperor would return home
and display their tropheys,
Weaponry and captives that were seized
during the battle.
This was a grand moment for the victor.
This is what happened when Jesus arose
from the grave.
He put satan to open shame and he did it
with complete boldness.
He took all of the weapons from the enemy
of our souls.
And he did it openly.
The word openly is taken from the word
parresia,
which is used in the New Testament to
denote boldness or confidence.
Paul lets us know that this
was no quiet affair.
Make no mistake about it.
All of Heaven was rejoicing!!

Lesson #3

We need to take a look back at history for just a moment to see how satan worked back then.
With all of the evil that is going
on in our world today,
One would think how could it be
worst back in the days of
Jesus then it is now. Believe me it was worse.
Satan wanted to destroy the early church before it could destroy him.
Intense hatred grew so rapidly under the reign of Nero the the Christians would be burned to death, boiled in oil, or eaten by wild beast such as lions.
Nero made a sport of this.
This was his sick for of entertainment.
They had a coliseum back in those days that seated 87,000 seats.
Massive crowds would assemble for a whole afternoon to watch this sick sport.
Wild beast would be released through
Tunnel like passages and then they would place the Christians in these same passages to be hunted down by these wild animals.
They would not feed the animals for days in order to make them even more hungry. They were chased until they were caught and then they would be eaten alive before 87,000 cheering people.
At first these events only took place about once a year usually during the month of January as a dedication to the gods.

However during the sick rule of Nero
such afternoons greatly increased.

They would then string the
dead bodies of the Christians
upon a pole, and then they
would set them on fire to be as huge
lanterns, and then they would set them on the road side to be used as lights to
help them see as they worked.
So you see satan's mission has been to destroy
The church from the very beginning.
Since the devil has did this in the past,
It should be no great surprise that he would
try to do the same to us now.
Even with all of this he did not stop
the church from growing.
The Old Testament is full of true
life stories of how God's army, Israel
defeated both physical
and spiritual adversaries.
1st Corinthians 10:11
1. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples:

and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends
of the world are come.

By studying the Old Testament we can learn
a lot about conquering the spiritual world.

Spiritual warfare
Lesson #4

2nd Corinthians 10:3-4

3. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Let's take a look at this same verse
in the Living Bible.
It is true that I am an ordinary,
weak human being, but I don't use
human plans and methods to win my battles.
4. I use God's mighty weapons,
not those made by men,
to knock down the devil's strongholds.

The very fact that Paul said we do not war according to the flesh tells us that Paul was aware of his own weaknesses. He knew that trying to fight a spiritual battle in the flesh was hopeless. The word war is taken from the word strateomenos and it refers to a militant attitude of a trained to kill Roman solider.
There is no doubt the Roman soldiers were
the finest military machines of their day.
These men were trained killers.
You might say that they had a taste for blood.
They knew how use their
weapons against the enemy.
We also must be trained to use our weapons
that the Lord has given us against the enemy.
Furthermore, especially good soldiers requested
to be on the front line.
This way he could see the enemy
and attack him first. For two long we
have been letting the enemy attack us first.
That way he gets the upper hand.
We are going to learn to use
each piece of the armor
So that when satan attacks,
we will be ready for him.
We must see victory and not defeat.
We have to be willing to go where no other Soldier has gone.
Paul had this type of attitude.
He would go into cities that
no one else would go into.
Paul was a very educated man.
Yet he knew that when it came to the
enemy his education did not count.
The flesh is no match for the enemy.
This is why we must to learn
how to fight in the Spirit.

Spiritual warfare
Lesson #5

Spiritual warfare and renewing the mind.
The mind is the strategic center where spiritual warfare with the god of this world
(satan) takes place.
The enemy knows how important your mind is.
He knows that if he can take control of your mind then he can expand
outward into other areas that that
needs to be strengthened by The Holy Spirit.
By poisoning your mind with unbelief
and lying strongholds.
The devil can manipulate your mind, your emotions, and your body.
Moreover, he will also try to use you to pour this
same unbelief and lying strongholds into others.
There is no doubt about it.
The mind is the strategic
center for spiritual warfare.
By nature we were all born with
an innately rebellious mind and a
rebellious nature that was against God.

Colossians 1:21 says,
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled.
Prior to our salvation experience we were
alienated and enemies in our minds
by wicked works.

Romans 8:7-8 says,
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God,
neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the
flesh cannot please God.

2nd Corinthians 4:4 says
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Let's look at his same verse in the Living Bible.

2nd Corinthians 4:4 says,
Satan, who is the god of this evil world, has made him blind, unable to see the glorious light of the Gospel that is shining upon him, or to understand the amazing message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is God.

So you see we are born into this world with a nature that was bent toward self
annihilation and was fully capable of developing strongholds by itself.
If we do not seek to renew our minds, wills,
and emotions to the truth of God's word then we will remain in bondage.
The devil knows that if he can stop us from renewing your mind,
Then he can wage war on us successfully.

Spiritual Warfare
Lesson #6
Renewing the mind.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Lets look at Romans 12:2 in the living Bible
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think.
Then you will learn from your own experience how his ways
will really satisfy you.

The word transform means to change or to alter.
A sure sign of your mind being conformed is there will be a change in your life. Your old ways of doing things no longer exist.
Now you live only to please God.
You no longer want to do things your way,
or the way of the world,
Now you live by what the Word of God says.
The New Testament pleads with
us to live the way that Good says to live.
No longer living by this world's customs.
The way of the world only leads to death.

1st Peter 1:13-14
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according
to the former lusts in your ignorance:

Let's take a look at the word gird.
The word gird means to prepare for
a military confrontation.
When you makeup your mind
to do things God's way.
You can be sure that you are in for a battle.
This is why the Lord warns us to prepare our mind's so that when
the enemy of our souls attack,
we will be ready for him.
We must seek to renew our thinking.
This consistent renewal of our minds
by the Word of God will
eradicate wrong thinking.
The word eradicate means to kill.
Not only will reading the Word change our old way of thinking, but it will eradicate, wrong believing, scars from the past, hurtful and emotional memories of the past.
It is these very areas that satan
uses to wage war on our minds.
The renewal of the mind does not add to the already completed work of Jesus Christ, It simply puts us in a mental state that enable us to better use our faith and to enjoy the benefits of the redemptive work that Jesus has
accomplished for us.
For this reason we must understand that
spiritual warfare is a life long commitment.
It is not a gust of emotion to frighten the devil away for a few moments of time. Real spiritual warfare will take much longer than that.
This is why you must study your Bible everyday.
Satan is not playing games with us
but He is out to kill,
steal and destroy.

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
But have no fear saint's of God,
Jesus has come that we might have life
and have it more abundantly.
Jesus wants to teach us on a
day to day basis how to walk in the Spirit.
Real spiritual warfare requires a life of commitment, purity, and consecration. Any view of spiritual warfare that fails to include these
is lopsided and fails to meet the mark.

Spiritual warfare
Lesson #7

Demonic attacks that backfire.

None of satans attempts to destroy the Church have ever succeeded.
If you study Church history, each attempted that satan has tried to destroy the Church has done nothing but further
the cause of Jesus Christ.

Two thousand years of experience tells us that satan has no winning strategy.
He simply does not know how to win.

By having Paul thrown in prison for his faith,
The devil thought that he could destroy Paul's ministry. This was not a winning strategy at all.
By having Paul thrown in prison,
The devil made a horrible mistake.
He put Paul in a situation that he had nothing but time on his hands.
Therefore Paul had plenty of time
to listen to The Holy Spirit.
During Paul's time in Prison,
he received some awesome
revelations from the Lord.
Paul wrote The book of Galatians,
Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians,
2nd Timothy and Philemon.
All of these were a result of time spent in prison.
Satan is to stupid to realize that
when he attacks us,
It doesn't do anything but cause us to go running into our Lords arms.
Therefore we draw closer to and
we learn to trust our Lord.
Had Paul never went to prison,
he may have never
written these vital books of the New Testament.
Paul spent his time building new Churches, teaching new Christians,
and correcting problems in the local Church.
Outside those prison walls, Paul's ministry was driving the devil crazy.
So the devil figured if he could lock
Paul away then he could stop him
from converting new believers.
Satan made a big mistake. Praise the Lord!!!!

Another big mistake satan made was having
John imprisoned on the isle of Patmos.
By putting John on this isle out in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea,
He thought he could destroy
John's effectiveness in the ministry.
This was yet another horrible mistake.
By isolating John on the isle of Patmos,
the devil positioned
John to receive the book of Revelation!!!
So the next time satan tries to attack you or your ministry, family,
or friends, thank God for His Holy Word.

Romans 8:28 says that,
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

This Scripture applies not only to the good things that happen in your life, but the bad things as well.
Everything that happens to you whether it is good or bad, you must remember that God has a purpose and a plan.

Jeremiah 29:11 says,
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Lets take a look at this same
Scripture in the Living Bible.
Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord.

They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Spiritual Warfare
Lesson #8

A Closed Door Does Not Mean Failure

Regardless of what the devil tries to do to you, your family, bills, trials, sickness your church or ministry, if you stand in faith, God will turn it around to work for the advancement of the kingdom of God!

Even if your finances are assaulted,
and even if the plan of God appears
to come under siege in your life,
God is able to take these wicked
devices and turn them to work for your good!
As Paul said,
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose" (Rom 8:28).

A closed door does not mean failure!
If a door slams shut in your face
and it looks like everything is over, hold tight, and refrain from making a judgment call about the situation! What the devil did to hurt
you, God will use to bless you! God may be preparing to open the largest, most effectual door of opportunity that has ever been made
available to you!

Paul suffered many blows from the enemy that, naturally speaking, should have mortally wounded him. Yet he was still alive and well and was still in the ministry. Having seen God's faithfulness on so many occasions, he confidently looked trouble in the face and said,
"Nay, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through Him that loved us"
(Rom 8:37).
The word conqueror is from the word nikos,
It describes an overcomer, champion,
victor, or master.
It is the picture of a overwhelming
prevailing force.
With the power of Jesus Christ at our disposal
we can be certain of Romans 8:38-39 which says,
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Lets look at this same Scripture
in the Living Bible
For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love.

Death can't, and life can't. The angels won't, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God's love away.
Our fears for today,
our worries about tomorrow,
or where we are--high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean--nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us.
It doesn't matter what your attacks are now or how they have been
In the past, the bottom line is that all of satans attacks will utterly fail.
Isaiah 54:17 plainly says,

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Satan is so dumb, he doesn't even realize
that he is fighting a losing battle.
In the end, we shall win.
No! put it this way.
We have already won, because on
what Christ Jesus did on Calvary.
Praise His Holy Name!!!!

Spiritual Warfare
Lesson #9

Your problems are not unique.

As you grow in your spiritual walk with the Lord,
You need to know that the attacks on
your life may begin to escalate.
The good news is that your knowledge of God's word
will help you to eradicate these attacks.

The adversary doesn't want you to grow.
Spiritual growth in your life equals
trouble for him and his kingdom.
He would rather that you remain a
baby in your spiritual life,
so that you will not do any serious damage.
Therefore, when you begin to really grow and expand your knowledge
in God's Word and in the power of The Holy Spirit.
Your growth will pose a threat to the devils kingdom.
Beware! The enemy is going to try to attack you to stop you from growing in the Lord.
But don't let this discourage you.
But remember you must study God's Word.
Hosea 4:6 says,
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
If you do this then God will back you up all of the way.

1st Corinthians 10:13 says,

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
that ye may be able to bear it.

Lets look at 1st Corinthians 10:13 in the Living Bible.

But remember this--the wrong desires that come into your life aren't anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the same problems before you. And no temptation is irresistible. You can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it, for he has promised this and will do what he says. He will show you how to escape temptation's power so that you can bear up patiently against it.
The devil may try to coax your flesh and emotions into thinking that no one else has suffered like you, or that no one has ever gone through the difficulties that you are going through right now.
This is a trick to make you fix your eyes upon yourself
instead of Jesus and what His Word says.
If you allow the devil to do this, it will ultimately lure you into a maze of self centeredness, where everything revolves around you,
your problems, fears, difficulties.
He does not want you to grow in faith,
Don't let him play this trick on you.
Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.

Please be aware that when you begin to grow
You will have plenty of opportunities to use your faith,
Therefore you must resist the devil and all of his tricks.

These attempts of the enemy are to drive
you back from the land of promise.
He doesn't want you to obey God's precious Word
and experience blessing.

You must know that an attack against your finances,
your body, your church, your friends,
your mind, your joy,
your marriage, your friendships ect, are not unusual.
This is how the enemy works.
He waits until you begin to grow and then he will try to strike you with unrelenting force.
By knowing ahead of times how the enemy works,
You will be mentally prepared
to handle his challenges.

Your knowledge of how and when
the devil will attack, will equip you how to
deal with these attacks more intelligently.
James 1:2 says,

My brethren, count it all joy when
ye fall into divers temptations;
The word when implies that these assaults will come.

James doesn't warn us to cause us to fear, but rather he forewarns us of this reality so that when these attacks do come, we will not be
shocked and taken off guard.

The devil does not want you to make
spiritual progress in your life,
and he will try to stop you dead in your tracks.
If nothing else these attacks prove that you are making headway in your spiritual life and are becoming a threat to his kingdom.
Otherwise these unseen enemies would leave you alone.
Mental preparation removes the element of surprise,
and this will always give us the upper hand.

Spiritual Warfare
Lesson #10
Be strong in the Lord.

Before Paul begins his message on armor,
he first urges us to receive supernatural power!
In this chapter we are going to see what Paul has to say about this supernatural power that God made available to us.

Ephesians 6:10 says,

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord,
and in the power of his might.

What does it mean to be strong?
First of all, the word strong is taken
from the word endunamoo.
The word endunamoo which is a compound of the Greek worn en and dunamis means explosive strength, ability, or power.
The word dunamis is where we get the word dynamite.

Taken together as one word, as Paul uses in this text the word endunamoo desribes an impowering or an inner strengthening.
It's conveys the idea of being infused with an excessive dose of dynamic
Inner strength and ability.

We are specially designed by God to be
receptacles for this divine power.
Thus, the reason Paul urges us,
Finally, my brethren, be strong.
The idea is "receive a supernatural, strengthening ,
Internal deposit of power into your inner man.
In other words before you even attempt to go into battle with satan
You must be strong, and the only way this can happen is that you must go to the Lord and ask him to fill you with that divine power.
We cannot fight the enemy in our own strength.

Paul knew that we desperately needed this special touch of supernatural power in order to successfully combat the attacks that the enemy would bring against our lives.
Paul was not suggesting that we receive this power,
he was commanding us to receive it.
Without this power we are no match for satans schemes and devices.
You must remember that satan is keen,
cunning, and shrewd.
He knows exactly when to strike with his destructive powers.

Naturally speaking our physical strength does not even begin to compare to his.
You must remember that satan was a powerful brilliant angel before he fell into his present perverted condition. And although fallen he has still retained much of his former intelligence which was originally given to him by God.
It is true that Jesus stripped him of his legal authority over us, but his intelligence is still in tact.
Powerful as the devil may be, he is still no match for the all surpassing power of The Holy Spirit, and the devil knows this.
Therefore he seeks to outwit our natural minds.
To stop these satanic strategies,
We must receive this special
empowering from on high.
I cannot stress this point enough.
This mighty power can only be found in one
place and that is in the Lord.
So before you begin any type of spiritual warfare, make sure that you go to the Lord and ask him to fill you with his mighty power.
We have tried to fight the enemy
far to long in our flesh.
It is time that we do it God's way.
Not only ask the Lord for His power,
But we must also ask him to teach us how to use it.

__________________________________________________________________________________

Spiritual warfare
Lesson #11

Evidence of the Spirit's power

How can you tell when the Lord's supernatural
power is operating in your life?
We declare that the real evidence of the Spirit's
power is being able to witness for Jesus Christ.

Act's 1:8 says,
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

It is true that becoming a witness for Jesus Christ is bona fide proof that you have The Holy Spirit's empowering presence within you.
This power is so strong that it can stand against any of satans powers or tricks. Satan hates for us to witness, and if you are taking the Word of God to a lost and dieing world, you can be sure that you are going to need the power of God.
This power that I am talking about is the exact same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead. No power of satan can stand up to that
Holy Ghost Power!!!

We have resurrection power!!! Praise the Lord!!!
Satan doesn't want you to know that!!!!
This is the strongest stream of power
known in the universe.
Infact this power is so supreme, that in the Scriptures it is only used in reference to God's power. Man does not possess this power unless it is given to us by God. This power is so overwhelming that the mighty Roman soldiers who guarded Jesus` tomb on the resurrection morning, Fainted and crumbled to the ground beneath the full load of this power,
And laid prostrate on the ground, paralyzed with fear.
They could not move until the
resurrection was complete.

Matthew 27:52 says that the saints that were dead.
got up out of their graves and starting
walking around town.

See Scripture

And the graves were opened; and many bodies
of the saints which slept arose.
Praise the Lord for His resurrection power!!!

Had you or I been present at the resurrection,
This power was so overwhelming that we would have felt the ground trembling, as this electrifying power entered the tomb where Jesus lay.
This power in our Lord was so strong that death could not hold him.
Praise His holy name! And guess what?
Death will not be able to hold us either.
This same power is available for our use.
Thank you Jesus?

When the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit is operative in our lives, it releases in us that very same power that raised Jesus from the dead.
God does not give us this power for nothing, once we have been empowered by The Holy Spirit God expects us to be witnesses for Him.

Jesus remember that without this power we are no match for satan,
but with this power, satan is no match for us.

Once you have received this power,
then and only then are you ready for
Spiritual warfare!!!!

Lesson #12

The wiles, Devices and Deception of the devil.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God,
that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles of the devil.
The word wiles means tricks. And believe me satan has a bag full of them. This is why Paul tells us to put on the whole armor of God.
The phrase whole armor is taken from the Greek word panoplia,
And it refers to a Roman soldier who is fully dressed in his armor from head to toe.
Since this is the example that Paul sets before us, we must consider the
full dress, the panoplia, of the Roman soldier.
Because Paul was in prison so much,
this was an easy illustration for Paul to use.
Paul could see the
Roman's Soldiers armor good.
The Roman soldier of the New Testament times basically wore
6 pieces of armor.
First of all the Roman soldier wore a loinbelt.
This was the ugliest and most common piece of
Weaponry that the Roman soldier wore, it was the central piece of armor that held all of the other parts together.
For instance the loinbelt held the
breastplate in place;
The shield rested on a clip on the
side of the loinbelt.
On the other side of the loinbelt was a clip on which the Roman soldier held his massive sword when it was not in use.

The loinbelt was so ordinary that no soldier would have wrote home about it. Yet the loin belt was the most important piece of weaponry
that the Roman soldier owned, because of its importance to the other pieces of armor. Without the loinbelt the other pieces armor would have fallen off. We will cover more on the loinbelt in a later chapter.
The loinbelt stands for truth.
It is vitally important that during this time that we are learning to use the armor that we come clean before God.
Tell him the truth about anything in your life that you know may hinder
you receiving this great power.
God wants to know your spiritual condition.
A commander of a Roman soldier would not send one of his men into battle if he knew he had some kind of sickness.
God wants us to come clean before him, so that he can help us fix up those weak
areas in our armor.
God is our Commander and chief and he
welcomes us to His Holy throne.
Hebrews 4:16 says,
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Saints of God if we are going to be
able to fight satan,
We are going to have to go to God
and get our battle plans.
A good soldier always has a good plan before he goes into battle.
We need to come before the Lord, so that he can help us to get our armor on. This means that we must spend time with the Lord.
I'm not talking about a minute here and there,
But we must learn to spend some
quality time with Him,
So that he can teach our how to properly use
our armor that He has given us.
Why not start today?

Meet the love of our lives.
Our Very best Friend.
Jesus Christ
Welcome to our Salvation room.
Getting saved is really very simple.
God has made the way so easy.
Man is the one who makes it hard.
It is as easy as A.B.C.
All you have to do is ADMIT that you are a sinner.
We all are.
And then you must ASK Jesus to come into your heart.
The Bible says in Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
What this verse of Scripture is saying is that there in not one person in this world who have not sinned.
You must also be truly sorry for your sins and you must believe that we cannot get into Heaven by doing our good deeds, or by being a good person.
The only reason that we can get into
Heaven is because Jesus shed His precious blood and He died on the Cross for our sins.
Now this does not mean that we will not sin again.
No way. We mess up all of the time.
We are in no way perfect and God knows that
were are not perfect, and God knows it.
This is why He sent his only Son to die for us.
This also does not mean that just because Jesus died on the Cross for us that we can live any kind of way.
No way! He wants us to try our best to not sin
and to live a life that will be pleasing to God.
You can only do this with God's help.
If you do mess up again, all you need to do is ask God
to forgive you and try not to sin again.
He will help you.
The Cross is kind of like a Bridge.
We must walk across it to get to God,
 Jesus, and The Holy Spirit.
You must BELIEVE that Jesus died on the Cross
for your sins and that He rose from the grave.
The Bible also says in Romans 10: 9-10
That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Let us make this Scripture a little clear for you.
We are going to let you hear what this same verse of Scripture says from the Living Bible.
9 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
The Bible also says in Romans 10:13
For "Anyone who calls on the
name of the Lord will be saved.
Now isn't that GOOD NEWS?
Then you must tell someone that you have asked
 Jesus into your heart.
This lets God know that we are not ashamed of him.
The Bible says in Mark 8:38
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Let me make it clearer for you once again,
by reading in from The Living translation Bible.
If a person is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, I, the Son of Man, (Jesus) will be ashamed of that person (when I return) in the glory of my Father with the holy angels."
This Scripture also lets us know that Jesus is coming
back one day to get us and take us to
Heaven to live with Him forever.
If you decide to pray the prayer below
and you don't have anyone to tell, tell us.
We would love to hear that you got saved.
We are Brad and Karen
Our email is at the bottom of this page.
All you have to do is email us back telling us that you have sincerely asked Jesus to come into your heart.
We will all be so happy for you.
That is all you need to do.
Please pray and believe the prayer below.
We can tell you that if you do decide to ask Jesus into your heart, this will be the best decision that you have ever made in your life.
When you get saved you will come to know just how much Jesus loves you and just how merciful He really is.
You will never find another love like the love of Jesus.
We cannot promise that you will feel all fuzzy inside.
You may or you may not.
Either way, whether you feel something or not,
He will be in your heart.
We are saved by faith.
When you say this prayer, at that very moment Jesus will wash away all of your sins.
We do not know if within the next few seconds if
Jesus will come to get us, or if we may die.
You could die before you finish reading this letter.
Please know that we are not saying
this to try to scare you.
We are saying this because it is the truth and you do
not want to be caught dead without Jesus.
Please do not let the devil trick you into not saying this prayer.
We have said all that I can say to help you,
The next step is up to you.
Here is the prayer that you need to pray.
Dear Jesus.
I love you so much
I admit that I am a sinner and I am truly sorry for my sins.
I know now that the only way that I can be saved and go to Heaven is by admitting that I am sinner and believing that you died on the Cross for my sins and on the third day (Easter Sunday Morning)
that you got up from the grave.
Jesus I cannot promise that I will never sin,
but I will do my very best to try to live a life that is pleasing to you with your help.
Please come into my heart dear Jesus.
Please come and live inside of me.
Please become Lord over my life.
Please help me to turn all of my problems over to you.
I do love you Jesus with all of my heart.
I thank you for dying on the Cross and shedding your precious Blood, just for me.
I now believe that since I have done what you have asked of me, according to your Word, I am now saved.
I thank you Jesus for saving my soul.
In Jesus Name
Amen!
If you have said this prayer and you really meant it,
The Bible says that the Angels are rejoicing.
See the Scripture below.
Luke 15:10
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
The same Scripture for the Living translation Bible.
In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.
So right now all of the Angels in heaven are rejoicing!
From this point on, we can truly say that your
life will never be the same.
We are so happy for you.
Please email us and tell us,
I just gave my heart to Jesus!
We will be rejoicing with you.
May God bless you and may He keep you in His care.
